Wobenzym N
What is it? What's in it?
Wobenzym N © is an enzyme preparation, which was originally developed in Germany in the 1960s. It’s a natural anti-inflammatory with many additional health benefits. Wobenzym N © still remains Europe’s most popular nutritional enzyme supplement. It’s a Pharmaceutical Grade Formula. Pharmaceutical Grade Formulas usually are only available through healthcare professionals, and aren’t found in retail stores. Pharmaceutical grade supplements are effective, because of their ingredients, and because they have greater bioavailability, due to the way they are manufactured.

Ingredients of Wobenzym N
| Pancreatin | Helps reduce joint discomfort and swelling | | Papain | Exhibits strong anti-inflammatory effects | | Bromelain | Reduces inflammation and the pain associated with it. Helps the body to reduce swelling of joints and strengthens the immune system | | Trypsin | Accelerates repair of injuries, boosts immune system activity, and may help maintain healthy circulation | | Chymotrypsin | Helps to maintain free blood flow to enhance circulation | | Rutin | A powerful free radical scavenger. Rutin also acts as an anti-inflammatory by inhibiting the enzymes that produce inflammation |
How does it work?
Systemic enzymes such as pancreatin, papain, and bromelain play an important role in the relief from the pain of inflammation, as well as a quick recovery from sports injuries and other injuries. Wobenzyme N © can replenish systemic enzymes (pancreatin, papain, bromelain), which allows your body to heal itself and provide effective long term joint support. As we age our bodies lose the natural ability to produce enough systemic enzymes to meet our needs. This aging process begins at about the age of 27 and by the time we have reached that age we have already used a significant amount of our body’s enzymes. To prevent the problem of running out, our body begins to ration out enzymes. The result is that it takes longer to recover from injuries. If our joints don’t heal properly they are susceptible to the development of osteoarthritis. Over 40 years of scientific research and evidence show that Wobenzyme N © is an effective arthritis treatment, and it’s widely prescribed throughout Europe for inflammation relief. By replenishing enzyme stocks, the body can heal itself and inflammation and swelling are reduced The enzymes in Wobenzym N © break down harmful proteins, which cause joint pain and slow down recovery from injuries. Wobenzym N © works by cleansing the blood of these harmful proteins, and makes it possible for the body’s natural repair and healing process to take place. These harmful proteins are called Circulating Immune Complexes or CICs. These CICs are the cause of most joint inflammation. They’re protein chains created by the immune system in response to irritation such as in an injury. The CICs cause pain, swelling and redness. The CICs cause the initial inflammation but then the inflammation leads to the creation of more, which just exacerbates the problem and slows down recovery and could cause further damage.
Dosage
A common maintenance dose is 3 to 5 tablets twice daily.Cancer Treatment Centers of America routinely prescribe 10 tablets three times daily. Ideally Wobenzym N © should be taken at least 30 minutes before meals or 60 minutes after meals. The best time to take it is just before bedtime or immediately upon arising
Uses and Benefits
Wobenzym N ©’s original use was primarily to treat osteoarthritis. Studies have revealed that Wobenzym N © lowers C-reactive protein levels, which is a marker of chronic infection in the body, on an average of 30%. The latest research, that was published in the New England Journal of Medicine, has documented that individuals with high levels of C-reactive protein have up to six times the likelihood of a heart attack or stroke as individuals with lower levels of C-reactive protein.Wobenzym N © acts as a natural and safe alternative to anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen and naproxen sodium (NSAIDS). Some Olympic teams have used Wobenzym to reduce injuries by as much as 50 percent and to increase healing after injury. This is partially due to its ability to prevent the discoloration and local pain associated with traumatic injuries. For this very reason, leading surgeons now routinely prescribe Wobenzym N © to prevent bruising, edema and the associated pain for their post-surgical patients. More and more uses for Wobenzym N are being discovered and the list of ailments benefiting from it continues to grow. Clinical trials and numerous studies over four decades have been launched to examine the benefits and effects of Wobenzym N ©. These studies have revealed many health benefits. Here are some of those benefits:
